This policy explains how we process personal data when you use our website or our relocation services. We process personal data in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When we act on behalf of your employer or a relocation management company (RMC), that company is the controller of your data and we process it as their processor, following their instructions.

We do not use your data for marketing without your consent, and we never sell it.

3. Use of artificial intelligence (AI)

PrimeAI website chat. Our website offers an AI assistant (PrimeAI) to answer first questions. It is clearly labelled as AI, and you can always contact a member of our team instead. The chat stores your messages, the page you came from, approximate country, browser type, actions taken and any name or email you give. If you give us your contact details in the chat, we also record your enquiry in our customer records. Only authorised staff and our technical service provider have access. Conversations are stored with Supabase in Zurich, Switzerland. To generate answers, messages are sent to Anthropic PBC (Claude) in the USA; Anthropic does not use them for training and deletes them within 30 days unless required otherwise. Conversations are deleted 12 months after the last message. Please do not enter sensitive data such as passport numbers or health information.

AI-assisted email processing. To handle enquiries efficiently, we use an AI assistant (Claude, provided by Anthropic PBC, USA) to read, sort and help draft replies to emails sent to us. The AI does not make decisions; every reply is checked and sent by a member of our team. Anthropic processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement and does not use it to train its models. If you prefer that your email is not processed with AI support, please let us know in your message or contact info@primerelocation.ch.

4. Who receives your data

We share personal data only as needed for the service or required by law, in particular with:

  • landlords, property agents and housing providers (for applications), schools, banks, insurers and authorities, only with your consent or as part of the service ordered
  • our immigration partner (Permitree) and tax advisors (BDO AG), only where you use these services
  • our freelance relocation consultants, who are bound by confidentiality and have each signed a data protection agreement with us
  • our IT and service providers acting on our behalf: Relocation Online (case management platform), Microsoft (Microsoft 365 email and document storage), Anthropic (AI assistance), Supabase (database in Zurich for website enquiries, customer records and the website chat), Netlify (website hosting and a backup copy of form enquiries, stored with IP address and browser information), our IT support provider and our accounting provider; all bound by data processing agreements
  • for our website also: Resend (sending emails, USA), Cal.com (appointment booking, USA), ipapi.co (Kloudend, Inc., USA; approximate location from the IP address of form enquiries), Formspree (USA; backup copies of city guide requests received until October 2026), Cloudinary (Israel/USA) for images, YouTube (Google, USA; home page video in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), loaded only when you click play), and Plausible and Google Ads (section 7)

5. Transfers abroad

We store data mainly in Switzerland and the EU: Microsoft 365 in Switzerland/EU, Relocation Online in Ireland (EU), and the website chat with Supabase in Zurich. Some providers process data in the USA: Anthropic (AI), Netlify (website hosting and form backups), Google (Ads, YouTube), Resend, Cal.com, Formspree and ipapi.co. In these cases we make sure the data is protected, through an adequacy decision of the Swiss Federal Council or the EU (e.g. the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework) or through standard contractual clauses.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work. Without your consent we only store what the website needs: your cookie choice, your language and, for the duration of your visit, how you found our website (sent along with an enquiry). Plausible (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia, data in the EU) counts visits without cookies and does not store IP addresses. Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC, USA; measuring which ads lead to enquiries and showing our ads, including remarketing) is only loaded once you accept the category "Marketing"; our Google tag currently reports to two Google Ads accounts (AW-11375797246 and AW-17984489661). With "Only Essential", Google Ads is not loaded and no data is sent to Google Ads. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via "Cookie Settings" at the bottom of every page. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some functions may then not work.

8. Security

We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), multi-factor authentication, role-based access, and confidentiality obligations for everyone working for us. No transmission over the internet is completely secure; please do not send sensitive documents by unencrypted email when another channel (e.g. our case platform) is offered.

9. Your rights

You can ask us for information about your data and request correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and you can object to processing or withdraw your consent at any time. Contact our Data Protection Manager at info@primerelocation.ch. We answer within 30 days. If we process your data for your employer or an RMC, we forward your request to them. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, to your local data protection authority.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The version published on our website applies.
